Guidelines for a smooth salon experience

To ensure an exceptional experience for every guest, we have outlined our salon policies with care and transparency. These guidelines help us maintain the level of service and professionalism you’ve come to expect from Fringe Hair Salon. We appreciate your understanding and support in creating a positive experience for all.

Credit card info is required.

We require credit card information to book appointments. The easiest way to store your card info is to book online; otherwise, the front desk will require your credit card details upon booking.

Card information is stored via a secure network protected by the VISA/MasterCard trusted seal. At no time does our staff or system have access to your card information when you have created your account online.

24 hours notice is required.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice.

Canceling your appointment with less than 24 hours notice is subject to a fee equal to half the cost of your service. No shows/missed appointments are subject to a fee equal to the full price of your service.

Canceling keratin treatments

A $75 fee is charged when you cancel a keratin treatment with less than 24 hours notice. This is in addition to the fee equal to half the cost of the service.

Text us if you’ll be late.

If you are running late, please text us at 564-213-7776.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start of your appointment, your appointment may be canceled and charged a missed appointment fee (full price of your service).

Some stylists take longer than others.

We know that some of our clients have time restrictions when making appointments (e.g., getting a cut over your lunch break). While we strive to maintain a timely schedule, some stylists may occasionally run longer with certain services, which can lead to delayed appointment start times. If you have a limited window for your appointment, we recommend reviewing stylist bios to find someone whose timing aligns with your needs. You can also tell us when booking, and we can help you find a compatible stylist.

We believe in complete pricing transparency.

You’ll find each stylist’s and colorist’s rates listed on their individual bios. Please note that additional charges may apply for extra-long or thick hair or when your service requires more time or product. We’re happy to provide you with a personalized quote when you book, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

Special care is needed for curly, long, or extra thick hair.

If you have extremely curly, extra long, or extra thick hair, please schedule blow outs separate from other services. Please let us know when booking your appointment if your hair takes extra time, so we can schedule you accordingly. If we haven’t made arrangements for a blown out style, we can do a complimentary hair treatment instead.

Our team members are specialists.

Our teams (colorists and stylists) are specialized. This means our colorists only perform color services and not cuts or trims, and our stylists only perform cuts or trims and not color services.

If you’re getting highlights:

When scheduled for highlight service, please make sure you arrive with your hair fairly clean and dry. Dirty or greasy hair can create inconsistent results.

Please make arrangements for your children.

Our infant/child policy is made with concern for the safety of your children. Please understand that our salon is not child-proof. Our work stations contain chemicals, sharp instruments and hot tools—extremely unsafe for children! As such, for your child’s safety, our policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the salon, and children are not allowed in the station areas unless they are receiving a service. If you arrive with an unattended child/infant, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.

Please use designated retail spaces.

Parking is available in the PCC garage, with entrances from NE 71st Street and NE 72nd Street. Retail parking spaces are located toward the back of the garage. From the retail spaces, take the stairs or elevator up and walk to the corner of NE 71st Street and Woodlawn Avenue NE. Our entrance is located on NE 71st Street.

As of January 2025, parking in the garage is $4/hour.

Please note:

  • We do not validate parking.
  • You should not park in PCC-designated spaces unless you are also shopping at PCC during the same visit. PCC provides free 90-minute parking when you make a purchase.

We strive to provide services you’ll love.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your service, we want to make it right.

Let us know within seven days of your service if you’re unhappy, and we’ll schedule a follow-up appointment to address your concerns.

We typically do not offer refunds; we’re committed to ensuring you’re happy with your hair service results.

NOTE: Refunds are not provided for tips or treatments.
